The sketch is finished! Mission Accomplished!

Miko, sketch me an ice-cream...

Aaah! We finished off the draft of the sketch today! Alleluja! Good Gracious! Fouf papa! Managed to remove that burden over our heads finally! It was a long and tedious task but it’s now over (at least for now, because it’s just a draft; not the final scenario!). Even if being in the committee for script-writing meant that I had to get up early to go to the university (during the holidays!) to work on that scenario, it was however an enriching and inspiring experience, let alone funny at times too! We had to rack our brains to find good dialogues for the characters of the play and, sticking to our reputation, we tried to make it as comical and original as possible. It was a great deal of fun really, except when we had to include medical jargon and tiresome technical words, but these were necessary (the sketch is supposed to gain us marks for the ‘Medicine In Society’ module!). Anyway, we tried to make it as interesting as we could afford (Yep, we are not allowed to use creole...Pity! Such an extraordinary and gifted language wasted to the profit of the boring English!). And hey! I’ll have a role in it! Hmm, I wonder if my acting will be alright... I’ve not done something like this since.. euh. .since... hmm.. since.. since.. err.. (Wait, I’m thinking, man!)... since... (Oh boy when was it, the last time?..)... since... (in kindergarten?)... since... err.. since... (hmm maybe since primary school?)... since... euh since... (am I gonna put something FINALLY?!!)... since... (aah, let’s go to sleep)..since... (zzzzzzz).... since.... since... since... (Ooooaaaah, well-slept..What? Not decided yet?!).... since.... since.... ok let’s say since Standard 3 (or once upon a time in space and time where I had no pubic hair, where I had no muscles showing, where mummy was still bathing me, where I still believed in Santa Claus, where I thought that babies came by post, where I was the smallest git around and thought I was born dwarf, where...). I just can’t wait for next year when we will actually ‘play’ the sketch! That would one of the coolest experience in my life! Yep! I wouldn’t have to play Worms, hack Windows, play the guitar or slap my sister to get satisfaction anymore! I will have the sketch to let off the steam I keep inside (Piiiiiiiiiiiiiip! Tempo lor difé! Mo fam lor telephone..Cari pé briler lor difé..Mo fam lor telephone... Mooooo fam lor telephone, Mooo fam lor telephone..Wa wa man..In da mix, in da mix...Cheese up!).

More to come tomorrow! By the way, tomorrow: practical at MGI! Yaiiii! Strolling in the gardens of the MGI; there’s nothing better than this (except s_x perhaps...)

Yours Sucksexfully,

Morgan Stonefalcon (West Essex)
